Right now the playoff picture could not be any clearer. There is one undefeated team in each power conference except the Big 12. The playoff picture finally changed with Penn State’s victory over Ohio State. The Buckeyes are by no means out of the playoff race though. Ohio State has what will likely be an epic showdown against Michigan looming on November 26th, but they cannot look past teams like Nebraska either. The race for the best team out of the American, Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West and Sun Belt is heating up. Right now there are three prime candidates to head to, most likely, the Cotton Bowl. For the moment we are projecting Boise State, but they had some struggles on Saturday night against Colorado State.
