Georgia added another big win to their resume with a 31-3 victory against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are now 4-0 and do not play Alabama during the regular season. A trip to Tennessee this week will not be easy, but Mississippi State was not an easy opponent either and Georgia made easy work of that game. Most of the top teams won during week three. Mississippi State and Vanderbilt were the big winners on the day. The Bulldogs dominated LSU in a 37-7 win. They are now in a great position to compete in the SEC West. However, they have road trips to Georgia and Auburn in the next two weeks. Vanderbilt beat Kansas State 14-7 to move to 3-0. The top of the playoff picture has changed very quickly during the first two weeks of the season. Florida State’s loss to Alabama, and more importantly the loss of quarterback Deondre Francois, has put the Seminoles out for now. And Clemson’s shutdown defense against Auburn has proven that they should be the team to beat in the ACC.
