Week 5 FCS Football Bracketology Breakdown

Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Youngstown State, Delaware, Stony Brook, Southeast Missouri State

First Five Out:  Indiana State, Elon, The Citadel, Eastern Kentucky, Sam Houston State

We had some major movement this week. Not so much with teams moving in or out. There was but that happens most weeks. We’re talking about major head-to-head games resulting in moving up or down the bracket tree. One such winner was Montana, who went to UC-Davis and owned the Aggies. That is a win that vaults to Grizzlies all the way into the national seed lines. Jacksonville State lost to Austin Peay. The Gamecocks have become so accustomed to winning OVC games that any loss is national news. The one major change is the first time inclusion of Georgetown. Their schedule is nothing to be excited about, but they’re 3-1. Just couldn’t reward Colgate any longer being 0-5. Now, the Patriot League is still up in the air, but we’ll make the change for now.
