Week 14 Football Bowl Projections Breakdown

Without any major upsets, the bowl projections have not changed too much since last week. With Virginia Tech’s win, there are now four six-win teams who will not make a bowl. Joining Louisiana-Monroe, Wyoming, Miami (OH) on that unfortunate projected list is Southern Miss. All six win teams in mid-major conferences need to worry. More interesting are the teams at the other end of the spectrum. Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame are clearly in the playoffs. The fourth team will come down to Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State (sorry UCF). The committee favored Oklahoma last week, but there is still plenty of drama heading into Sunday’s selection.
