10/20 Men's Soccer Bracketology Breakdown

Connecticut Men's College Soccer

Last Four In: Delaware, SMU, George Mason, Clemson

First Four Out: Winthrop, UC Davis, UCSB, Seattle

This time of the year, every game makes a big difference on the bubble. At the moment, we have Delaware, SMU, George Mason and Clemson hanging out on the good side of the bubble. Delaware has a pretty bad RPI, but they do have a nice win at UNC Wilmington. However, there is not much margin for error and they need to keep boosting that win total. SMU is currently sitting atop the AAC standings at 3-0-1, but they have a tough road to Tulsa and Connecticut this week. They need to get a result or two out of that to stay on the right side. George Mason has at least one more opportunity for a big win when they host Davidson on Saturday. Of course Clemson has even more opportunities for resume building wins. They are just 7-6-0 overall, but they did beat Providence, Wake Forest and Virginia. They still play Coastal Carolina, Louisville and South Florida.
