4/14 Baseball Bracketology Breakdown

Georgia Tech Baseball

Last Eight In: North Carolina State, UCLA, UAB, Wake Forest, San Diego State, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Texas A&M

First Eight Out: Tennessee, UC Irvine, Maryland, Georgia, UCF, Michigan State, Evansville, Indiana State

Georgia Tech used a big week to get themselves back into the projected field of 64.  The Yellow Jackets have won eight of their last nine games, including a series victory over last week’s top ranked Florida State Seminoles.  Georgia Tech started the season off slow, but have clicked at the right time.  Staying in the same conference, NC State still clings to one of the last spots in the field.  The Wolfpack lost their weekend series to Duke last weekend, falling to 6-12 in ACC play.  It is a very disappointing season for the Wolfpack, as they feature two players, Carlos Rodon and Trea Turner, who should find themselves among the top picks in June’s draft.
