Sean Newcomb is a name that you should remember.  The junior southpaw has been dominant for Hartford so far this season, as he has yet to allow an earned run in 39.2 innings pitched.  In his most recent start against Stony Brook, Newcomb threw seven no-hit innings in Hartford’s 1-0 victory.  Hartford currently trails Stony Brook by one game in America East play, but they are a strong candidate to make the NCAA Tournament with Newcomb leading their rotation.  Watch for Hartford to ride Newcomb’s hot hand towards an America East title and a NCAA Tournament berth.
