It was a battle at the top this week for the tournament teams, as four Top 10 teams squared off against each other. Both Florida State and Vanderbilt secured their place at the top of the bracket, as the Seminoles swept NC State and the Commodores took two of three from LSU. It doesn’t mean a whole lot in the long run for the losing teams, as they still find themselves hosting regionals and are both in the Top 10, but they are great resume building wins for the winners. Those teams will be joined by a pair of newcomers in the field this week, as UNLV and Indiana State both enter the field. UNLV is off to a 13-5 start, including 7-2 in conference play, while Indiana State has rebounded from losing Sean Mannea to last June’s draft by going 14-2 on the year. Also making moves in this weeks bracket is Seton Hall, who moves up to a 3 seed after improving to 12-3 on the season.
