For the most part things went as planned during the opening weekend of women’s college basketball. Teams like Connecticut, Stanford, Notre Dame and Tennessee are going to get tested this week. Uconn and Stanford play each other, while Tennessee takes on North Carolina and the Irish face a pesky Michigan State defense. It will not take long before the best of the best start rising to the top.
