Last Four In: Kansas, Iowa, Oregon State, James Madison
First Four Out: Virginia Tech, DePaul, Northwestern, South Carolina
Every conference has a champion, a team that played their way into the 2013 NCAA Tournament. There were plenty of surprises along the way and some thrilling conference tournament finishes, but now the focus moves away from the automatic berths and to those teams that will sweat it out waiting to hear their name called on Sunday night. The SEC and Pac-12 will dominate the field, as potentially 19 teams from those two conferences alone could end up in the field of 64. The bubble is always an interesting place to watch, but keep an eye on Conference USA too. With Marshall pulling off a bit of an upset en route to a conference tournament title, the C-USA may now end up with four teams in the field. It is difficult to make an argument against Houston, Tulsa or UAB, but none of them helped themselves during championship week.
