Women's Basketball: Connecticut and Tennessee Playing Again?

Connecticut and Tennessee Playing Again?

Baylor was just stunned by Louisville 82-81 in the biggest upset in women's college basketball history, eclipsing the improbable 16 seeded Harvard’s 1998 win over Stanford on Stanford's home court.

What it sets up, in my mind, is a very possible National Championship game between Connecticut and Tennessee. The two greatest rivals in women's college basketball history have not played since 2007 when Tennessee head coach Pat Summitt called off the series, alleging still unfounded recruiting violations on the part of the Huskies. Holly Warlick, associate head coach under Summitt, now coaches Tennessee.
