Last Eight In: Temple, Southern Miss, Mississippi, Alabama, Boise State, Oklahoma, Saint Mary’s, Wichita State
First Eight Out: Tennessee, Kentucky, La Salle, Virginia, Middle Tennessee, Baylor, Louisiana Tech, Maryland
It was not a good day for most SEC teams. Kentucky was blasted by Vanderbilt, while another bubble team, Tennessee, fell to Alabama. That was an absolutely huge win for the Crimson Tide who jump into our bracket ahead of the Volunteers. Even a loss to Florida on Saturday is not going to hurt Bama too much. Ole Miss got a big win on a buzzer beater over Missouri and are awaiting a matchup with Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon. That could be a bad loss for the Rebels, but it could also be the clinching win that takes the team completely off of the bubble. For now, they join Alabama in the 2013 NCAA Tournament field.
