Last Eight In: Iowa State, Michigan State, Florida, Middle Tennessee, Temple, North Carolina, Gonzaga, Kansas State
First Eight Out: Michigan, James Madison, Texas, USC, Wake Forest, Memphis, Saint Joseph’s, Kansas
Memphis and Arizona State were a couple bubble teams that had an opportunity to play themselves into the tournament. But they both lost, which is good news for the rest of the bubble. The Big 12 and Pac-12 wrap up their tournaments on Saturday as Baylor faces Texas A&M and Stanford squares off against California. Those games are not going to change much in the big picture. A few new teams moved into the bracket after Friday’s games, but Prairie View A&M, Eastern Michigan and UCSB all have one more game to win to earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
