Last Eight In: Oregon, Southern Miss, Colorado State, South Florida, West Virginia, Texas, Miami (FL), Connecticut
First Eight Out: North Carolina State, Northwestern, Xavier, Drexel, Mississippi, Iona, Colorado, Seton Hall
Seton Hall was one of the big losers today, most likely dropping out of the at-large picture. The Pirates really needed a signature win to catapult themselves into the NCAA Tournament, but fell at the hands of Louisville. West Virginia also lost to a decent opponent, but their overall resume is much better and they remain in the tournament for now. Colorado also fell after their poor performance against an awful, awful Utah team. There were not any major surprises in the automatic bids on Wednesday as Montana, LIU Brooklyn and Lehigh all punched their ticket. The real madness begins today as the ACC, Big Ten and SEC tip-off their tournaments and the rest of the major conferences get into the meat of their tournaments.
