Overview:
Freddie Avis is a power right handed pitcher. His fastball sits in the mid 90’s. In his repertoire he can also rear back and throw a nice change and a sharp curve. He strikes out batters at an alarming rate and has the potential to be a top end of the rotation guy.
Final Projection:
Avis should be a late first rounder. He was a little late on the radar, but has dominate stuff as a young pitcher. As he continues to develop and master pitching he has the potential to have three plus pitches. He already is a strikeout pitcher and that should continue throughout his career.
