Overview:
Stryker Trahan is a 6’1 220 pound athlete. He has great size for a future catcher and is an outstanding young hitter. In the 2010 season he hit at a clip of .434 and got on base to the tune of .491. He scored 37 runs and drove in 39. He has a strong arm behind the plate and a quick release.
Final Projection:
Good catchers are rare to find, and catchers who can hit are even more rare. He is a stud and should be drafted high in the first round. He has all the makings of a future star in the show, but catchers do take time to develop as they have a lot to learn about calling games.
