Frank Alexander NFL Draft Profile

2012 NFL Draft Profiles

Frank Alexander, Senior, Defensive End, Oklahoma

Oklahoma Team Page

Overview:

Frank Alexander had a tremendous senior season for the Sooners compiling 8.5 sacks and 16 tackles for a loss. He also recorded 54 tackles on the year and even pulled down an interception.  He capped off his senior season with a bowl victory over Iowa where he swatted down two passes and recorded three solo tackles. He has a high motor and plays with a lot of energy.

Final Projection:

Alexander is an intriguing prospect. He has the frame to possibly move to a rush linebacker at the next level. He has good quickness and will leave it all out of the field. Whether he moves to linebacker or not, he still is viewed as project player and at this point will likely be selected in the third or the fourth round.
