Devon Still NFL Draft Profile

2012 NFL Draft Profiles

Devon Still, Senior, Defensive Tackle, Penn State

Penn State Team Page

Overview:

The Nittany Lions had one of the nation’s best defensive units last year, and a large part of their success was due to the efforts of Devon Still. The senior had an excellent season, notching 4.5 sacks, breaking up a pass, forcing a fumble, and hurried the quarterback twice from the nose tackle spot. He is stout against the run and demands double teams.

Final Projection:

Still looks to be late first round or early second round pick. He has tremendous size and can play the nose tackle in either a 3-4 or a 4-3 scheme. He has an NFL body and has a lot of experience playing defensive line, which can translate to making an impact as a rookie as both a run stuffer and pass rusher.
