Last Four In: Clemson, Virginia, USC, Mississippi State
First Four Out: Richmond, Colorado, BYU, Stanford
The bubble is still very active. We have teams such as USC, Virginia, Clemson, Mississippi State, and Stanford who may find themselves in the Last Four In or First Four Out on a week-to-week basis. The next teams to watch out for who could potentially take the place of one of these teams are Richmond, BYU, and Colorado. Maryland ends a 4-game skid which halts their descent for now. As this bracket was completed before the games of 2/5, LSU has the potential to take Texas’s place as a 1-seed should the Tigers beat the Longhorns on the road. That would make it twice this season LSU has beaten Texas. There is a high probability of them meeting in the SEC Tournament as well. Princeton drops a seed line as they face their first loss in conference play. Another loss could send them to the 10-seed line very quickly.
