Last Four In: Syracuse, BYU, Utah, Georgia
First Four Out: Kansas, Clemson, Richmond, Miami (FL)
There are some significant shifts in our bracket this week. After a week of conference play that began for most teams, we saw a lot of upsets occur that drastically dropped the number of undefeated teams from 12 to 4. Perhaps one of the biggest head scratchers is back-to-back losses for LSU to begin SEC play. This has not happened in the Mulkey era. Duke and NC State continue to rise in the ACC despite a rigorous start to non-conference play to begin the season, especially for Duke. Notre Dame has dropped a couple games in ACC and has dropped significantly despite having high hopes again this season. However, it is still very early, and I expect a lot to continue to change over the coming weeks as we march toward February.
