Week 9 FCS Football Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Stephen F. Austin, Austin Peay, Youngstown State, Lamar

First Four Out: South Dakota, Abilene Christian, Western Carolina, Furman

There may have not been much doubt, but North Dakota State proved that they are the team to beat this year. The Bison went on the road to South Dakota State and came away with a resounding victory over the former #2 team in the FCS. The Southland Conference now has three projected teams in the playoffs. Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin and Lamar are all perfect in conference play. Lamar plays both teams in back-to-back weeks in November, while the Lions and Lumberjacks do not play this year. Obviously, those games will have a huge impact on the conference championship and the playoffs.
