First Four Out: Youngstown State, Furman, Stephen F. Austin, Lamar
The MVFC provided plenty of action in the first full weekend of conference games. North Dakota State pulled away from Illinois State in the fourth quarter and South Dakota State held on to beat Youngstown State. The Penguins are now 3-2 and they have a couple really tough road games coming up against North Dakota and Illinois State, but this is a good team that will continue to be in the playoff mix.
