4/30 Baseball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Western Kentucky, McNeese

First Four Out: Mississippi State, Kansas State, Virginia, Cal Poly

LSU takes the No. 2 overall seed after defeating Tennessee 2-1 in a series this weekend in Baton Rouge. Ole Miss, TCU, and UC Irvine are newcomers to the Top 16 this week with Auburn, Coastal Carolina, and Louisville falling out. However, these three can just as easily swap positions next week and return to the Top 16. There are several teams with similar resumes sitting on the fence of becoming a Top 16 seed such as the three who fell back out and NC State, Oklahoma, and UCLA. Notre Dame makes an appearance for the first time this season in the bracket with Virginia moving up to the First Four Out.
