4/28 Softball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Georgia Tech, Michigan, Baylor, Iowa State

First Four Out: Northwestern, BYU, San Diego State, Coastal Carolina

Oklahoma reclaims the No. 1 overall seed this week with three SEC teams in a row after them. The biggest fall in the Top 16 National Seeds is Florida State and the largest jump is Arizona. Stanford drops out of the Top 16 and Texas Tech takes their spot. It just makes sense for a projected Big 12 Champion to earn a spot in the Top 16 even if their RPI is a 20 and Stanford is a 16 at the time of this release. Texas Tech has a better resume at this point and should get the nod over Stanford. LSU continues to slip after two weekend series losses in a row and face Florida in a rubber match Monday evening after being run-ruled at home in the first game on Saturday and winning on a walk-off Sunday night.
