4/30 Baseball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In:  Kansas, Texas Tech, Florida, Louisiana Tech

First Four Out: TCU, Maryland, Troy, UCF

Texas reenters the bracket this week with Kansas from the Big 12. The CAA and C-USA both have three teams in the field this week, which is a bit of a surprise, because normally you see them as a one-bid conference, possibly two. The Sun Belt dropped down to a two-bid conference this week. The defending National Champions have not made it back to the field yet. LSU continues to creep closer but have not yet gotten their SEC record to where it needs to be and, with Texas A&M this weekend, it will be very tough to see them in the tournament at all this season unless they can pull some upsets and get a SEC series sweep or two with just three series left to play.
