First Four Out: Virginia, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan
Conference tournaments begin this week with the NCAA tournament selection on Sunday. There are a couple of minor conferences who could have a team that is right there with the 1-seed of their tournament who could win instead of the regular season champion, and that is something I expect. This season, I expected to have a couple of more ACC teams make it into the national tournament, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s tough competition in these power conferences and they tend to beat up on each other. Watch for teams like Texas, Minnesota, Clemson, and Duke to make potential runs in their conference tournament.
