Top 12 Youth Promises for the 2023 NFL Draft

The 2022 NFL came with class and poise, and we hope to see how the new players perform for their teams. With that done, scouts are already prospecting for new promises at the college level, and we are all for it. The picks are like playing at an online casino and trying to hit a massive payout.

It might take time for the prospects to reach their full potential. However, these crops are eager to build an impressive run for the team and stamp their feet in the sands of time. As we wait for the 2023 draft, let’s look at some youth promises in college football that would wow the NFL world.

Will Anderson Jr.
The number one name on our list is Alabama’s edge rusher, standing at six-ft-three and 243 lbs. Anderson already showed his credibility. He was dominant for Alabama. After getting an invitation to the Heisman Trophy presentation, he was awarded the Bronko Nagurski Award to become the country’s top defender. We look forward to him in the NFL.

Jalen Carter
Another name on our list is Jalen Carter of Georgia, the fast-paced DT with an incredible eye and quick feet. He is flexible and can wreak havoc in the backfield, surprising opponents with his twitch. We’ve seen him do incredible things, and undoubtedly, he is one for the future once he gets regular playing time.

Bryce Young
Bryce Young is another Alabama youth promise. He is a Quarterback with a slight frame, and despite that, the player has some incredible stats. Young was pivotal to Alabama’s success last year as they went on to win the national title. He has one of the best stats, and we expect him to keep improving.

C.J. Stroud
Ohio State’s QuarterBack is the next name on our list. The QB has some impressive stats for Ohio State. He has shown that he can do it on the big stage, even as a youngster. Therefore, we can only say that he would go far as long as he stays fit and doesn’t relax on improving his work rate and passes.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the next prospect we’re looking at following his tremendous showing as a top star. The player is a wide receiver that has gone on to make Ohio State history. He recently became the player with the single most receptions in one game for the state. Even though he lacks the straight-line speed, he is a cunningly fast route runner.

Nolan Smith
Another name from Georgia to make our list is OLB Nolan Smith, an incredible player that is already on a superstar level. The player already has some showings that put him at a very high standard. He would continue to progress at this level, and we think he would be one of the best in the business at this rate.

Jordan Addison
Another wide receiver on our list, but this time he is from Southern California. The five-foot 11 inches player is a quick bird that is ready to make runs and offers insane reception. As a prospect, he is already dropping crazy numbers, and we think he may well improve on those numbers, making him an amazing player.

Bryan Bresee
Even though he was out for most of last season, Bryan Bresee had some incredible moments that made us think he would do well in the future as long as the injury doesn’t have a big toll on his body. Bresee is an entertaining DT, and even with his build, he has some pacey moves that make him interesting to see.

Noah Sewell
We’ve seen enough of Noah Sewell to know that he is a premium prospect that can grow to become one of the best linebackers in the world. Even with his big size, he has an amazing closing speed that puts him as one of the most impressive footballers in the country. He is one to watch as a pro.

Kayshon Boutte
This youngster is another wide receiver on our list. He is an impressive athlete with the speed to match. Kayshon Boutte is one player that has been improving since college. He has been on an upward trajectory that makes us think that he has what it takes to change the way we see him, and we believe he is one for the future.

Cam Smith
Although he has been missing games for each of the last two seasons, Cam Smith has been able to convince us that he can make it as a pro. He has the stats to back it up, and we believe there is more to this CB from South Carolina. Undoubtedly, he has the right frame; all he needs is to be available.

Will Levis
Finally on our list is Will Levis, a quick-thinking QB with the passing range of a pro. He is also a tough runner who would do well to make it to the professional level easily. He is an incredible prospect with a high ceiling, and we believe that he can make the hall of fame.
