5/23 Baseball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Rutgers, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Clemson

First Four Out: San Diego, Iowa, Alabama, Kentucky

There are so many teams this season that could be considered for a National Seed. It is difficult to pick just sixteen. Several two-seeded teams in Regionals could jump into a National Seed position with conference tournaments happening this week. A lot of teams who are a National Seed this week have an RPI in the 20s and 30s, although RPI isn’t everything, it is heavily considered. Dallas Baptist, Gonzaga, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Texas are teams who could find themselves a National Seed should they win their conference tournament this week. The ACC has the most teams in the field this week with eleven and the SEC closely behind with nine.
