You can expect the top eight national seeds this week to have an almost guaranteed spot among the top sixteen national seeds after the conference tournaments in a few weeks. Nine through sixteen is a little more fluid and could change. The ACC has the most teams in the field out of any conference this week with eleven and the SEC is right behind them with ten.
