5/2 Softball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Charlotte, Illinois, Oregon State, California

First Four Out: USF, Western Kentucky, Virginia, Wichita State

Virginia Tech jumps Oklahoma for the number one overall seed. Even though Oklahoma looks better overall with the eye test, the Hokies have a better RPI resume including strength of schedule and Q1/Q2 wins. Oklahoma and Virginia Tech will both be teetering for that one-seed over the next few weeks. We are about two weeks away from conference play and it will be exciting to see how many bid-stealers we will have this year.
