Football Week 11 Bowl Projection Breakdown

The playoff picture is getting clearer after Oklahoma lost. It seemed inevitable that the Sooners would eventually lose after so many close calls. But that should knock them out of the playoff picture. However, we are starting to run out of teams. Georgia is almost a lock as long as they only lose one game. Alabama will have to beat Georgia in the SEC title game and not lose on their way there. The Big Ten East will get a team in as long as that team can stay at one loss. Oregon is in good shape with one loss and an undefeated Cincinnati will come in and take the last spot should any of those teams lose. Once two or more of any of those power conference teams hits two losses, things will get very interesting. But if one of Alabama, Oregon or the Big Ten East teams get to two losses and Cincinnati stays undefeated, that will be the dream scenario for the Selection Committee.
