5/3 Baseball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: UNC Wilmington, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Arizona State

First Four Out: Virginia, Rutgers, Iowa, Southern Illinois

There is some shakeup in the National Seed projections this week as Arkansas overtakes Vanderbilt for the number one National Seed in our latest projection. Old Dominion jumps back into the mix as a National Seed. Notre Dame moves up a couple of spots and Florida makes the jump to a National Seed as well. Texas falls a couple and TCU rises from the Big 12. East Carolina drops out of National Seed contention for now. Winning the American Conference Tournament could possibly put them back in that conversation. The Big Ten still only has one team in the projected field and that is Nebraska. Rutgers and Iowa are left out. Their RPI is not great, and the no non-conference games really hurts these Big Ten teams.
