3/14 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Mississippi State, DePaul, Washington State, North Carolina, South Dakota State, UCF, Michigan State, Oregon State

First Eight Out: BYU, Wake Forest, Villanova, Seton Hall, Notre Dame, Rice, Mississippi, Oklahoma

For the most part the changes come from automatic bids being claimed in one-bid conferences. One surprise team did enter the field Saturday though. Missouri State wisely stepped away from the MVC tournament, much to the joy of the conference office who would love to have two teams make the tournament and much to the dismay of the bubble. The MVC will now be a two bid league. The ASUN could be a two bid league as well if Liberty manages to pull off an upset over Florida Gulf Coast. With the bubble shrinking by one, BYU is the unfortunate team to drop. Mississippi State is next on the chopping block.
