#29 Central Connecticut State FCS Football 2020 Preview

Central Connecticut State Blue Devils

Overall Rank: #29
#1 NEC

During Coach Ryan McCarthy’s first season leading Central Connecticut State, he led the team to their second ever playoff appearance. The Blue Devils did not lose to an FCS opponent until the playoffs, and the only other loss came in a very close 34-29 contest at Eastern Michigan. Albany proved to be way too much for CCSU in the playoffs, but the Blue Devils dominated the NEC. Without quarterback and leading rusher Aaron Winchester the team will look different, but whenever they take the field they should again be the class of the conference.
