3/2 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Richmond, Providence, Stanford, Mississippi State, USC, Florida, Cincinnati, Rutgers

First Eight Out: Rhode Island, North Carolina State, UCLA, Memphis, Texas, Utah State, Purdue, Saint Louis

The bubble is starting to get very interesting. Teams like Providence, Stanford and USC took huge steps into at least getting into consideration. We have all three of those teams on the right side of the ball at the moment. Others are faltering, but for the most part this week was about teams playing their way in. If that trend continues, the selection committee will have a lot of tough decisions to make, especially if the bubble shrinks due to upsets in conference tournaments. Of course, most teams will still have plenty of opportunities to get some quality wins and cement their spots in the NCAA Tournament.
