2/24 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: St. John’s, Western Kentucky, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Drake, Creighton, Iowa State, Rutgers

First Eight Out: Alabama, Boston College, Drexel, Butler, Villanova, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Bradley

The Big East is turning into one of the more interesting conferences as far as the bubble is concerned. DePaul and Marquette are safely in, but five other teams have some work to do. Creighton has a solid RPI, but has not put together back-to-back wins since January 3rd. Villanova picked up a huge win on Sunday over DePaul to put them back in the tournament conversation. St. John’s lost a heartbreaker at Providence, but nabbed a much needed win against Seton Hall over the weekend. That was Seton Hall’s second loss of the week. Butler has the best record of the bunch at 19-8, but the RPI is not very impressive and they finish with two tough road games.
