The Big 12/SEC Challenge ended in a 5-5 tie. The mixed results is probably a win for the SEC since the Big 12 boasts the best RPI in the country. LSU picked up their eighth victory in a row in a nice road win at Texas. The Tigers are now 15-4 overall and a perfect 6-0 in SEC play. This week LSU hosts Alabama and Ole Miss and will be expected to win those two. We still have the Tigers as a #7 seed and expect them to lose a few of the tougher road games coming up, but this is a team that is playing very well right now and could make a strong push towards a top two or three seed.
