2/25 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Indiana, Ohio, UCF, Kansas State, Clemson, Auburn, South Dakota, Utah

First Eight Out: Tennessee, BYU, TCU, West Virginia, Purdue, Villanova, Miami (OH), Butler

It will be very interesting to watch the rest of the Big 12 season. Baylor, Iowa State and Texas are safely in the NCAA Tournament, but a handful of other teams are squarely on the bubble. West Virginia was on a bit of a hot streak before they lost at home to Oklahoma on Saturday. That puts them out for now and the schedule finishes tough with road trips to Kansas State and Kansas before they host Baylor to finish the regular season. That game against the Wildcats on Wednesday will be huge. Kansas State moves into the bracket after beating TCU over the weekend. The Horned Frogs are the other team squarely on the bubble. Back-to-back losses to WVU and KSU hurt them this week, but they have a decent RPI and are 18-8 overall. Still, they need to get a couple more wins down the stretch to be on the right side of the bubble.
