2/25 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Utah State, Clemson, UCF, VCU, Texas, Minnesota, Temple, Alabama

First Eight Out: Oklahoma, Belmont, UNC Greensboro, Butler, Furman, St. Mary’s, Toledo, Florida

Houston is turning into one of the more interesting teams this year. The Cougars are currently sitting at 26-1 overall. The schedule has not been too difficult, but their strength of schedule is not too far behind a team like Gonzaga. The difference is Houston still has some big games on their schedule. They host UCF next weekend and travel to Cincinnati to finish off the regular season. Presumably the Cougars will get a third showdown against the Bearcats in the conference tournament. If they win out, do not be surprised to see Houston earn a number two seed.
