First Eight Out: West Virginia, Michigan, BYU, South Dakota State, Boise State, Kansas State, Ohio, Arkansas

Last week we discussed North Carolina’s huge win over Notre Dame. The big victories keep coming for the Tar Heels. UNC slipped past Georgia Tech on Thursday night in a battle of bubble teams. On Sunday North Carolina likely took their name off the bubble list and into the looking good to make the tournament list with their 64-51 win over the nation’s last unbeaten team, North Carolina State. At 14-9 and just 5-4 in ACC play, the Tar Heels have some work to do still, but if they keep playing like they have over the last two weeks, it will be a while before this team loses again.
