With the regular season coming to an end, the race for the Big 12 title could be decided this weekend. TCU currently holds a two game lead atop the standing and will travel third place Oklahoma this weekend. The Horned Frogs are playing their last Big 12 series this weekend as only a non-conference series with Cal remains, and either a sweep or a series win secures the outright title. However, a series loss will leave the door open for second place Texas Tech or Oklahoma. Texas Tech is off this week and has just one series left against Kansas. If they can sweep the Jayhawks and Oklahoma wins the series with TCU, the Red Raiders will claim at least a share of the conference title (a sweep of Kansas and an Oklahoma sweep of TCU gives them the outright crown). Oklahoma has two Big 12 series left, this weekend with TCU and next weekend with Oklahoma State. If the Sooners can sweep both series, they will earn at least a share of the Big 12 title and could win it outright with two sweeps and one Texas Tech loss. All eyes in the Big 12 will be on Norman this weekend, as all possible scenarios rely heavily on the outcome.
