Joey Bosa NFL Draft Profile

Joey Bosa, Defensive End, Ohio State

Overview:

Joey Bosa is one of those highly regarded players who has lived up to the hype. As a freshman he recorded 44 tackles, including 13.5 tackles-for-loss and 7.5 sacks. For his efforts he was named to various freshman All-American teams. But it was in 2014 as a sophomore when Bosa really burst onto the scene. During the Buckeyes national championship run, Bosa recorded 21.0 tackles-for-loss and 13.5 sacks. When big plays needed to be made, Bosa was there to make them.

Final Projection:

Heading into the 2015 season, the expectations are extremely high for Bosa and the Buckeyes. The reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year is the consensus top pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, should he declare after his junior year. But of course, he has some work to do during the 2015 campaign first. But at 6-6 and 275 pounds, Bosa has all the tools and versatility to be a menace in the NFL for years to come.
