The big game of the week was on Monday night when South Carolina went to Connecticut. The Huskies dominated that game and are now back where they belong as the top ranked team in the nation. However, that contest did not change our bracket at all since we have been projecting Connecticut to win out and be the top overall seed in the 2015 NCAA Tournament. That is where they will stay. South Carolina is still a #1 seed and should stay there even if they lose again along the way. Notre Dame looks pretty good to secure a top seed too, but they still have games against Duke and Louisville and a tough conference tournament too. The last #1 seed is a bit more interesting. Baylor is certainly deserving and will get the #1 seed if they win out. However, Tennessee has the chance to pick up more quality wins, most notably against South Carolina. If the Lady Vols beat South Carolina either in the regular season or in the SEC Tournament and don’t lose besides a potential second game against the Gamecocks, they and South Carolina could both be #1 seeds.
