Tennessee’s victory over Oregon State highlighted a light week in women’s basketball. That was Oregon State’s first loss of the season and now the Beavers begin Pac-12 play with a trip down to UCLA and USC. A couple wins there and the Beavers could establish themselves a true contender in the conference. For the Lady Vols, the victory kept their good times rolling. They have beaten Rutgers, Stanford and now Oregon State since their back-to-back losses in late November to Chattanooga and Texas. The SEC, of course, is going to be brutal, but Tennessee is playing great basketball right now.
