Dani Miller NPF Draft Profile

Notre Dame College Softball Dani Miller 2012 NPF Draft Profile

Dani Miller, Senior, Infield, Notre Dame

Notre Dame Team Page

Overview:

Dani Miller started off her Notre Dame career with a bang. As a freshman in 2009 she set a school record for first year players by smashing 11 home runs. Three of those happened to be grand slams. Miller’s numbers are not eye popping, but she is a clutch hitter. She may not bat .400 every year or pound out 20 home runs, but Miller gets the job done and is the leader of a pretty good Irish team. She has consistently been named to the first team All-Big East squad and remains the favorite to win the conference player of the year award in 2012.

Final Projection:

Miller can play just about anywhere in the infield and has done so throughout her career. She is a fine fielder and is just as reliable in the outfield as she is at the plate. Miller may need to put up some better numbers to catch the eye of the NPF, but she is a solid all-around player who can play a few positions and be a clutch hitter.
