After writing about collegiate athletics for the better part of a decade, Joel Welser thought it was time to venture out on his own. Joel's preseason previews of men's basketball and football, as well as his postseason NCAA Tournament and bowl previews, have been featured in magazines and across the internet. Joel attended California State University, Northridge where he received his degree in Cinema Television Arts, specializing in screenwriting. After his stint in Hollywood, Joel headed back home to Michigan where he now resides with his lovely wife, a horse, some fish and way too many cats. When Joel is not writing about college sports, he is thinking about what college sports articles need to be written next.
