Week 8 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

Despite the disheartening loss to Florida State, Notre Dame is not out of the playoff picture yet. As it turns out, the schedule has not been too tough, but the Irish still play at Arizona State and at USC. If they can win those, and the rest of their games, Notre Dame will be right in the middle of the playoff picture. The way things are going there will not be too many one loss teams. But, of course, the bigger news is Florida State, who downed the Irish 31-27. The Seminoles toughest game remaining, and that includes the ACC championship game, will likely be their next one at Louisville on Thursday October 30th. We still have Florida State playing Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl, while Michigan State faces Alabama in the Rose Bowl. Alabama is back in the projected playoffs after beating up on Texas A&M. It is very feasible, and what we are predicting to happen, that Alabama will not make the SEC title game, but they could still have just one loss and the committee would have to take a one-loss Tide team.
