Week 7 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown

It was Prove It Saturday for many teams who pulled off big wins last Saturday and needed to show that they were for real by beating other quality teams. Up 58-37 with under 11 minutes left in the game, TCU looked like they were going to follow up their big win over Oklahoma with another win over Baylor. However, Baylor mounted a massive comeback and took that game from TCU. Whether one thought the Horned Frogs were one of the best four teams in the nation or not, they would have been a clear projected playoff team with their toughest games already behind them. Baylor, on the other hand, still has to play Oklahoma and with their non-conference slate the Bears cannot afford to lose a game and make the playoffs. Mississippi State passed their test at home against Auburn following their big win over Texas A&M and Ole Miss crushed the Aggies after upsetting Alabama. This could be the greatest Egg Bowl ever.
