First Four Out: Sam Houston State, Illinois State, James Madison, Liberty
There were very few upsets at the top of the FCS this week. The big contest was between Liberty and Indiana State. The Sycamores came away with a 38-19 win. It was not enough for Indiana State to make it into the bracket, but it was a tough loss for the Flames. Now at 3-2, Liberty has little margin for error and they play Richmond and Appalachian State in the next two weeks.
