3/13 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

DePaul Women's College Basketball

Last Eight In: Villanova, Florida, Rutgers, BYU, Vanderbilt, St. John’s, Oregon State, Georgia Tech

First Eight Out: Florida State, Saint Joseph’s, Minnesota, Creighton, Iona, Southern Miss, South Florida, Central Michigan

Over the last few days, the most interesting play has come out of the Big East. DePaul earned the automatic bid by beating St. John’s in the final. Creighton and Villanova both failed to make a big enough run to secure an NCAA bid and are squarely on the bubble. The Bluejays did beat DePaul and St. John’s during the regular season, but have some bad losses along the way. The Wildcats have a 22-8 record, but their best win of the year was probably against Penn. Those two are going to have to sweat it out on Monday.
